PDO Thread Lift Ads on Meta: $17,906 in Revenue From $1,254.89 in Ad Spend
Campaign by MDConsultingNY · Published October 13, 2026
Practice name withheld. Ad figures from Meta Ads Manager, September 1 to 30, 2026. Revenue from the practice's CRM for leads from the same month, as of October 6, 2026.
A med spa in Northern California started Meta ads for PDO thread lifts on August 4, 2026. MDConsultingNY ran the campaign and tracked every lead in the practice's CRM, from the form to the revenue it brought in.
In September 2026, the campaign brought in 103 leads from 83 unique people for $1,254.89 in ad spend, or $12.18 per lead. Five booked an appointment. The patients those leads became generated $17,906 in revenue, about $14.27 for every $1 spent on ads.
The Challenge
Can ads for a higher-priced treatment pay for themselves?
Many med spa ad accounts lead with tox and filler. These treatments are popular and easy to explain in an ad. A PDO thread lift is a larger decision at a higher price.
The practice wanted to know whether a thread lift campaign would bring in enough revenue to cover its cost. The answer had to come from its own numbers: every lead traced from the ad that produced it to the revenue it brought in.
The MDConsultingNY Approach
A dedicated thread lift campaign, tracked to revenue
MDConsultingNY built a Meta lead campaign for PDO thread lifts, separate from the practice's tox and filler ads. The ads offered an entry price per thread with free neurotoxin units added, and sent people to a landing page with a form.
The campaign ran one image ad and one video ad in a single ad set, on a daily budget of about $41.
In September, the image ad took about 88% of the spend and brought in 88 leads at $12.50 each. The video ad brought in 15 at $10.34 each.
Every form went into the practice's CRM with the campaign name attached. The practice updated each lead as it moved forward and recorded the revenue when the person became a patient.
Each month, MDConsultingNY reviewed cost per lead with the practice and adjusted the ads.
The Result
$17,906 in revenue from one month of leads
In September 2026, the campaign produced 103 leads for $1,254.89 in ad spend, or $12.18 per lead. The patients those leads became generated $17,906 in revenue for the practice, about $14.27 for every $1 spent on ads.
The ads reached 12,924 people and were shown 35,824 times, about 2.8 times per person.
Some people sent the form more than once, so the 103 leads came from 83 unique people, about $15.12 in ad spend each. Five of them booked an appointment, about $251 in ad spend per appointment.
| August 4 to 31 | September 1 to 30 | |
|---|---|---|
| Leads | 72 | 103 |
| Ad spend | $1,134.57 | $1,254.89 |
| Cost per lead | $15.76 | $12.18 |
From the first month to the second, cost per lead fell 23%, from $15.76 to $12.18. Leads rose 43%, from 72 to 103, on 11% more spend.
The revenue counts everything those patients chose at the practice, not only thread lifts. It is revenue, not profit.
Individual results vary by practice, market, offer and ad budget. Revenue is for leads from September 2026, as recorded in the practice's CRM on October 6, 2026.
Takeaways
What other med spas can take from this
- Judge a campaign by the revenue its leads bring in, not by cost per lead alone.
- Count unique people and booked appointments, not only form fills. Here 103 form fills came from 83 people, and 5 booked.
- Give a higher-priced treatment its own campaign. Here one month of thread lift leads brought in $17,906 on $1,254.89 in ad spend.
- Run image and video ads side by side. In September, video leads cost $10.34 against $12.50 for the image ad, on a much smaller share of the budget.
- Track every lead from the form to the revenue. Without that link, the revenue figure in this case study would not exist.
- Review the numbers every month. Cost per lead here fell 23% from the first month to the second.
